Leandros Melissinos falls in love with famed Broadway actress Irene Lambros. After a passionate night of love, Leandros walks in on a living-room rehearsal between Irene and her leading man. Leandros thinks the scene is for real, and leaves her. Irene is pregnant with child and tries to convince Leandros that the scene he witnessed was from a play, and that the child she carries is his. He insists on DNA evidence.
