This warranty will be honored only in the U.S.A.

Foxit Corporation warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the time periods as set forth below. Pursuant to this Limited Warranty, if a defect exists, Foxit will, at its option, (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished parts; (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or refurbished (“Refurbished” meaning a product or part that has been returned to its original specifications). When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Foxit's property.

Warranty Coverage

Foxit warrants that the Product and all the hardware components packaged with the Product are free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Limited Warranty Period, except for the following: (1) Any product which is not distributed in the U.S.A. by Foxit Corporation; (2) Any product which is not purchased in the U.S.A. from an authorized Foxit dealer; (3) Any damage which is caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication; (4) Any product or part that has been opened and modified without the permission of Foxit; (5) Any product whose serial number has been removed or defaced.

Warranty for e-ink Screen

Caution: The e-ink screen uses advanced technology and is a fragile product. Foxit reminds you to protect the screen and please do not scratch, hit, pour liquid on, toss, refrigerate, bite, etc.

The warranty period for the e-ink screen is ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase. Foxit will provide free labor for replacing the e-ink screen but will charge for the cost of the new e-ink screen which will not exceed $109. Please note that this warranty will be voided if it is determined by the manufacturer that the screen has been broken by any kind of external force. Foxit will provide you a report about the determination.

Please make sure your e-ink screen is working well when you receive your device. Please note that the device will be regarded as “In good condition” if you don’t contact Foxit the same day you receive the device. And the warranty limitations will be in accordance with the warranty regulations described in your Owner's Manual.

Warranty Period

Labor: The warranty period for labor is ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase. Foxit will provide the labor for warranty repairs at no additional charge for the period of 90 days from date of original purchase. If Foxit elects to replace the product after this Labor Warranty has expired but while the Parts Warranty below is still in effect, it will do so for the applicable labor charge.

Parts: The warranty period for parts is one (1) year from the original date of the purchase of this Product. During the applicable limited warranty period for parts, defective parts will be replaced at no additional charge for the part being replaced. Parts used for the replacement will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period for that particular part.

Your dated sales receipt showing the date of purchase of the product is your proof of the purchase date. You may be required to provide proof of purchase including serial number, as a condition of receiving warranty service.

Instructions to Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the Product, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, to the address specified by authorized Foxit dealers. Before you deliver your product for warranty service it is your responsibility to keep a separate backup copy of the application software and data. DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PHOHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

The duration terms and conditions of this warranty are valid in the United States, except where different limitations, restrictions or conditions may be required by local law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary based on state.
