Bio: Believe it or not, Story is Karin’s real name and not some clever pseudonym she came up with one day when she was stalling in front of her computer. Pretty darn convenient she grew up to be a writer! She is the award-winning author of both young adult fiction and romantic adventure suspense. Her young adult novel, Lonely Heart, which was an EPPIE Award finalist in 2002, and its sequel, Tangled Hearts, are being made available at Amber Quill Press. She won the prestigious Molly Award in its inaugural year with her romantic suspense, The Still Point. Her poetry has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, and her articles on writing have been published in newsletters and magazines across the United States, Canada, and Australia. Karin is a member of AEPRA, Romance Writers of America, The Heart of Denver Romance Writers, and the Mystery/Suspense chapter of RWA. She’s also the webmaster for The Heart of Denver, and feels extremely privileged to be the listowner for the amazing, supportive “Wild Writers.” Karin has mentored young writers, taught writing workshops to online groups and writing organizations, written book reviews, and has several years experience as an editor. By day she stays busy homeschooling and having adventures with her way-too-smart-for-their-own-good boys. Evenings are spent playing the piano, watching movies with her hubby of fourteen years, and reading, reading, reading. But in the dead of the night while the rest of the world sleeps, she has these voices in her head... They force her to stumble to her computer, pop open yet another Diet Coke, and tell their stories. That is until the long arm of the law reaches out for her, and the man she's been protecting reaches for a gun.
