Bio: Nik Charlton started writing at the age of nine. Along the way he served in the Royal Corps of Transport wing of British Armed Forces for a decade with deployments to Borneo, Aden and a UN stint in Cyprus, before retiring as a corporal. Following his stint in the army, he worked as a builder and driving instructor, while honing his writing skills in his spare time. Now retired, he also enjoys painting in oils as well as writing in the Mystery and Crime genre. A divorced father of six, and grandfather of two, he makes his home in Surrey, England.
