Bio: Marilyn Meredith has been writing professionally for more than thirty-five years. The author of eighteen published books, she's written for local newspapers and national magazines, and has published many how-to books and monthly newsletters for the community care industry.

As a means to tell people about writing and electronic publishing, and for promotion, Marilyn has spoken at various writers' conferences, schools, and for service clubs. Besides other mysteries, she's had two historical family sagas based on her own family genealogy published, as well as mysteries and other genres.

Marilyn is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, Public Safety Writers Association., California Writers Club, and EPIC. Besides teaching writing classes and speaking at writers' conferences, she was an instructor for Writer's Digest Schools for ten years.

Married for over fifty years to the sailor she met on a blind date, Marilyn is the mother of five grown children, eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Writing is Marilyn's greatest escape. She says there is nothing more gratifying than going into a world where she is in control--or at least thinks she is.
