Bio: Lee Mather was born in Stockport, UK, and attended Offerton High School, and then Aquinas College. After attaining five A levels, he read Business Studies at Sheffield University, graduating in 1999. Lee currently lives in Stockport with his fiancée Jennifer Williams, a nurse on the local A&E department, and at the time of writing the couple have been together for eight years. Away from writing, Lee has an interest in most sports. He is a 4th Dan Black Belt in Shotokan karate, and in his spare time he teaches a karate class for children. Stories have always fascinated Lee. He isn't sure whether he writes to escape from the day-to-day grind, or whether it is simply a release for some of his deep-rooted creative frustrations.
