Bio: Writing on and off since he was a child, John Leahy has begun taking the art seriously in recent years and this has paid off in 2007 with his winning the Listowel Writers Week Humourous Essay Competition, a shortlisting in the 2009 Fish Short Story Prize, and a Highly Commended placing in the Tom Howard Short Story, Essay and Prose Contest. In between his piano gigs he spends his time writing short stories, novellas, and music.
