Bio: Billie Houston is a poet, novelist and lecturer. With her husband, Herb, she has written and published numerous articles, essays, short stories, and novels. A former teacher and educator, Billie holds an undergraduate degree in History and a graduate degree in educational psychology from the University of Texas At San Antonio. Her hobbies are reading, knitting, quilting, and growing house plants.
