Bio: Fletcher Flora (1914-1968), creator of the detective Gaspar Vane, penned over 60 mystery stories and 16 novels during the 1940's and 50's, as well as "sensational" fiction of various kinds. Though his name sounds like a pseudonym, no other name is known for him.
