Bio: C. Wayne Winkle is a board-certified family psychologist with thirty years experience in the field. He earned his doctorate at Texas A&M University at Commerce where he wrote the major portion of a National Institute of Mental Health grant for the university.

In 1980, Winkle received the AAMFT Dissertation Research Award for excellence in writing and research. He was nominated to Who’s Who in American Writing in 1982. Dating from 1986, Winkle has been listed in several Who’s Who publications. These include Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who Among Emerging Leaders in America, and Who’s Who Among Human Service Providers.

His writing credits include five articles published in professional journals, a chapter in a professionally-edited book, three grant proposals, and two book reviews. In addition he has sold an article to LIVING WITH TEENAGERS. At the current time, he has two non-fiction ebooks published and is working on yet another novel.

Winkle and his wife of 31 years, Vicki, live in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They are the proud grandparents of Collin and Emily.
