Bio: According to Vella Munn, she has been writing forever. The author of over 40 published fiction books, she can't think of anything she'd rather do than lie for a living. Before taking the plunge into books, she honed her writing skills with some 40 fiction short stories, more than 20 non fiction articles, and less than memorable stint as a newspaper reporter. Her first books were category romance for the major publishers, but then her agent challenged her to try an historical, thus launching her love affair with Native Americana. For publisher Forge, she has written nine mainstream historicals to date, with more in the pipeline. In what time she doesn't spend at a computer, Vella delights in watching her grandson grow, hangs out with her writer friends, watches baseball, tries to keep her yard in some kind of shape, chases deer out of her garden, and walks--a lot. Whiteout, spawned in part from her family's mountain cabin, demanded to be written. However, the man against nature/survival tale isn't easily categorized, prompting her to turn to Hard Shell Word Factory.

when new books by Vella Munn are released.
