Bio: Neale J. Baxter was managing editor of The Occupational Outlook Quarterly, a general career information magazine published by the U.S. Department of Labor. He has also served with the U.S. Army overseas and worked for state and local governments. He has written for Career World and the Monthly Labor Review and teaches at George Mason University.

Mr. Baxter received his bachelor's degree from Manhattan College, his master's from Purdue University, and his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He lives in Virginia.
