Bio: Michael Bracken is the author of All White Girls, Bad Girls, Canvas Bleeding, Deadly Campaign, Even Roses Bleed, In the Town of Dreams Unborn and Memories Dying, Just In Time For Love, Psi Cops, Tequila Sunrise, and more than 800 shorter works published in Australia, Canada, China, England, Ireland, and the United States. His work has appeared in more than 140 different commercial, small press, and electronic publications.

He is also the editor of Fedora: PRivate Eyes and Tough Guys and three other anthologies currently in press.

Michael has received numerous ADDY awards, including Judges, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards for copywriting, both individually and as part of a creative team. A series of radio commercials Michael helped script received a Flair Award, his short story, "Of Memories Dying,"appeared on the preliminary ballot for a Nebula Award, and his short story, "Cuts Like A Knife," was short-listed for a Derringer Award.

In addition to writing, Michael has many years of experience in commercial and small press publishing, having been editor, publisher, designer, production manager, systems manager, or independent consultant to publications large and small.

Michael speaks about writing, publishing, typography, and desktop publishing at conferences, conventions, and corporate seminars, and has taught non-credit courses for writers at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He lives in Waco, Texas, with his wife, Sharon, and son, Ian. He has three other children--Ryan, Courtney, and Nigel--from a previous marriage.
