Bio: Louise Miller has been an animal lover since she was first introduced to the family dog Sugar and the wonder of cats with Susie. Respect for animals and their incredible contributions to our lives has extended to other species, both wild and domesticated. In addition to animals, Miller loves languages, especially English and German. She started out as a German teacher in various colleges and universities and continues to tutor today. She has studied in Vienna, Austria, and Bonn, Germany.

Her love of English led her to teaching, writing, editing, and proofreading. She has taught English at community and business colleges, has conducted writing workshops, and has worked both full-time and freelance for a variety of publishing houses. These include Compton's Encyclopedia, Rand McNally & Company, World Book, and School Zone.
