Bruce is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Anthropology, specializing in forensic osteology and Bronze-Age warfare techniques of the Mediterranean Basin. She has worked as a scientific/medical illustrator and photographer and am a registered nurse, specializing in acute care pediatrics and epidemiology.
