Bio: Annette Gisby grew up in a small town in Northern Ireland, moving to London when she was seventeen. Even while still at school, she had articles published in the Mourne Observer newspaper and currently she is well known on the web as a writer, editor and book reviewer. Silent Screams is her first novel and will be published by Crystal Dreams later this year.
Her articles have been selected for such websites as zinos.com and fictionaddiction.net, while her short stories and poetry have appeared on authors den and various other places on the web. Two of her short stories have been selected to appear in the science fiction anthology, Alien Light, edited by Carl Rafala and Paul Hughes, which is available now. She has also contributed another story to the anthology, Romancing the Soul, which is due out later in 2002.
As well as writing, Annette is the editor of the Twisted Tales webzine, which has stories, poetry, book reviews and author features. She is also the assistant manager of NUW, Not the Usual Way, an online support group for independent writers and just recently she has acquired the position of co-host/forum moderator for the novel writing and publishing forum at the writers' bbs.
When not writing, she enjoys wandering around ruined castles, deserted beaches and going to the cinema, some are great places for inspiration. She still lives in London with her husband, a selection of porcelain dolls and enough books to fill a small library!
when new books by Annette Gisby are released.
