Bio: Cheryl Norman lives on the edge of a golf course on the southern coast of Victoria, Australia, with her retired husband, three hundred kangaroos, possums, echidnas and an assortment of native fauna. When she's not dodging golf balls and keeping the kangaroos away from the rose bushes, she can be found reading or writing fantasy and science fiction as well as being a busy mother of two adult children and four grandchildren. Three years ago, Cheryl received her Diploma of Professional Children's Writing from the Australian College of Journalism. Since then, she has had two short stories published on the Internet. Through the Shimmering is her first novel and she is currently working on the second novel of the Isshuay Trilogy--The Time of the Missyl.
