Bio: Crawford's published fourteen novels, from small press publishers to Kensington, and Pocket Books in New York. She holds an M.A. in Psychology with a background in addiction and recovery. Her three suspense novels Blaize of Glory, Hat Trick, and 12 Jagged Steps feature 12-step counselor Blaize McCue and her boyfriend Detective Stephanos Zoloski. Her Blaize/Zoloski series deals with addiction issues and the books are set in Sacramento. Hat Trick was nominated and won the 2000 Best Mystery Eppie award, and 12 Jagged Steps was nominated for Romantic Times Magazine Reviewers Choice award. Crawford also co-authored The Courier by Jay MacLarty, published by Pocket Books in 2003, and collaborated on the sequel Bagman, (August 2004, starred review Publisher's Weekly). Beverly Hills Voodoo was an Eppie finalist for Best Mystery, and the sequel, Fortune Cookie Karma will soon be available in hardcover from 5 Star Mysteries.
