Bio: Lisa Cordeiro served in the Marine Corps in the early 1990s. After the Marines, she finished college before backpacking around Europe and living in Paris. When she returned to the States, she bought a bookstore and began freelance writing. Parris Island is her first book and she is currently writing In the Fleet about her experiences in the Marine Corps following boot camp.
