Bio: Born and raised in Oklahoma, I attended Oklahoma College for Women and the University of Oklahoma, graduating with my BS degree in ?Speech Therapy specializing in the Deaf.? My husband and I came to California in 1960. In 1967, he was killed in an automobile accident, leaving me with two young boys to face the world alone. Three years later, I married Don La Pierre, a Satellite Controller, and we also had a son. Together we raised three wonderful guys who are college graduates, plus enthusiastic hunters and fishermen. I?ve lived in the Silicon Valley (Sunnyvale, California) for over thirty years. I once owned a Mail Order Used Book business dealing mainly in signed and rare books, but phased it out because it took up too much of my writing time. I am an avid reader, belong to the WWS, (Wednesday Writers? Society) and periodically attend functions of other writing organizations. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of plotting a good clean exciting story.

when new books by Betty Sullivan La Pierre are released.
