Bio: Roxanne Smolen began writing twelve years ago after becoming a grandmother-an event so traumatic she decided to get the lead out of her, er, head and onto the paper where it belonged. Since then she has written six novels. She also co-founded the Coral Springs Writers' Group and has been an active member for over ten years. An avid science fiction fan, her work has been influenced by television classics such as Star Trek and Babylon 5. Smolen is currently working on the final book of her Anneliese Thielman Trilogy.
