Bio: Madeline Huss lives with her husband George in Bowie, Maryland, where she has been a resident for thirty-five years. She is the mother of five children and grandmother of nine, all of whom fortunately live nearby. She was born in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and much of her book is based on her experiences growing up there. As she says, "You can never forget your hometown and the part it played in your life." The Dandelion Patch is her first book. She has been published in newspapers, and many women and children's magazines.
