Nothing mattered more to John Calvin than the centrality, supremacy, and majesty of the glory of God. As Piper concisely but forcefully explores the essence of Calvin's preaching and zeal, he seeks to ignite every Christian's passion so that the glory and supremacy of God takes center-stage in our lives as well.
This full-length guide accompanies group members through DVD presentations by John Piper and includes opportunities for reflection, penetrating questions, and five daily assignments per week so that churches, small groups, classrooms, and families may learn to behold and delight in Jesus for who he really is.
In What Jesus Demands from the World, John Piper has gathered many of Jesus' demands from the four Gospels. He begins with an introduction that puts the demands in a redemptive-historical context, then concisely examines each demand. The result is an accessible introduction for thoughtful inquirers and new believers, as well as meditative meat for veteran believers who want to know Jesus better.
