Bio: Al Alexander was a fighter Pilot, WWII. He flew P-39s and P-47s in Africa and Italy, April 1944 through March 1945. Al was shot down over Italy, Oct 1, 1944. captured Oct 31, then escaped from Gestapo interrogation prison, November 1, 1944. He flew 59 combat missions. His book, THE GRAVE EAGLE CONSPIRACY, is based on his own Escape and Evasion experience in Northern Italy. After earning a B. S. in Chemical Engineering, Univ of Texas, 1949, he was recalled to the Air Force for the Korean War and assigned to Technical Intelligence. While stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, he traveled to every European and Middle East country outside the Iron Curtain, to northern Africa, behind the Iron Curtain on a number occasions, and did counterespionage work in Egypt. Two counterespionage novels came from this work, DEAD RINGER, and DOUBLE DEAL, both purchased by Knightsbridge Publishing Company. He served 7 years in Tech Intelligence before returning to industry. Al is a graduate of Corpus Christi Civilian Police Academy, an intensive 10 week course like a regular police academy, but tailored for civilians. Commander Holey of the Corpus Christi PD and Sergeant Arnie Garcia, Training Section, provided technical data for CLEAN KILL. He and his wife have traveled extensively for pleasure all over Europe and now reside in Texas.
